What is happening on April 6 and 7 at the castle?
It’s our big “Des Loirétains” weekend at the Château de Sully-sur-Loire. Come on April 6 and 7, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. to visit the castle. Entrance is free for all residents of the Loiret department. As a desire to share with you our local heritage which partly belongs to you.
19 spaces to visit including the hall of honor, the large living room, the dining room, the duchess's bedroom and the impressive medieval framework of the keep.
On the program: 3 stonecutters will be present in the main courtyard for demonstrations and explanations about stonecutting and the restoration of a historic monument. Come and discuss with our companions the duty of the Tour de France.
And that's not all: this year, we are inaugurating an illustrated tour in the rooms of the castle. Indeed, the illustrator artist Ritchi Rasa will exhibit comic strips describing the history of the castle. These boards will be hung on our totems in our rooms to help you discover the place in a different and illustrated way, to take you into a separate universe.

Come and meet our stonecutters, companions of duty, for demonstrations and explanations on stonecutting. Technique for restoring a historic monument, choice of materials, tools and know-how... you will know everything about this craftsman so appreciated by castles!

A historical comic strip journey awaits you in the rooms of the castle. A good way to understand the history of our castle through characters who will take you from room to room.
