Accessibility of the castle

Sully Castle wishes to be accessible to as many people as possible to enable all visitors to discover the history of the place and its collections. You can visit the castle alone or with others, independently or by following an activity. The castle also welcomes groups, schools, organisations, SEN establishments etc. Guided visits can be customised according to the needs of each person. Have arrangements already been made to cater to different handicap situations?

Reception and site access:

2 disabled parking spaces
Guide dogs and assistance dogs are accepted
An audio tour is available in six languages ​​(French, English, German, Dutch, Spanish, and Italian) via a QR code.
A model of the castle and two 3D reproductions are available along the tour route for visually impaired visitors.
Large-print information sheets are located in the castle rooms.
Disabled toilets
Inclined planes to access the reception area and the ground floor where an introductory clip of the castle’s history will be played.
The castle has 235 steps. It is equipped with ramps on the visitor’s route and cane seats are provided.
It is possible to sit down in all the rooms of the castle.
A booklet in Braille is available at reception.
Some staff members are educated in sign language and in the reception of disabled people.


Prices:
Free for wheelchair users.
Reduced price (€6) for holders of a disabled card and free for their chaperone (upon presentation of proof).
