On Saturday, August 1st and Sunday, August 2nd, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the Château de Sully-sur-Loire invites you to a complete immersion in the heart of the Middle Ages. Meet dozens of passionate artists and craftspeople who will bring the medieval era of our heritage to life before your very eyes.

💥 King's Artillery: Tremble at the cannon firing demonstrations and the handling of portable firearms with the company "L'Artilleur du Roi" (The King's Artilleryman).
🎭 Burlesque Theater: Laugh out loud at the medieval farces and offbeat stories of the company "Les Péchus" (The Scoundrels).
🎶 Musical Atmosphere: Let yourself be carried away by the period melodies of the company "Philémon".
🍲 Gastronomy & Art of Living: Explore the flavors and customs of the table with the company "Hauts Cœurs" (High Hearts).
📜 The Lord's Lodgings: Meet in the great lower hall and the small lower hall of the keep to discover the world of the "Regrattiers de l'Histoire" (Historical Scavengers). From coin minting to herbalism, and including games, calligraphy, and spices, daily life in the Middle Ages will hold no more secrets for you.
🩺 The Duke's Medicine: Delve into the mysteries of medieval health with "Sieur Mineau" and discover how ailments were treated at the time.

Come and experience a captivating visit to the castle, where history unfolds at every turn.
Your ticket is valid for the day; you can leave for lunch and return in the afternoon to complete your immersion.
Throughout the weekend, the castle is open for self-guided tours only (included in the "Medieval Festival of Sully-sur-Loire" ticket): room information sheets, an introductory film about the castle's history, an explanatory panel, and audio guides to scan and listen to on your phone. No guided tours will be offered this weekend. However, we will be available to answer all your questions during your visit.
